Born is a luxury skincare brand, focusing on simplicity; a less is more ethos.
Their brand values centre around giving the skin only what it needs, while being able to experience lavish, elegant skincare, providing staples for their audience's bathroom shelf. Re-imagining a French attitude in skincare-form.
What
BRAND STRATEGY | IDENTITY
We created a brand identity that puts the purpose of their products at the centre, stripping any elements that distract from simplicity.
With a minimalist aesthetic, combined with classic elements like a logo that resonates with iconic luxury fashion houses, we crafted the brand to speak for luxury products that speak for themselves, in a timeless identity that won't age with trends.
How
BRAND MESSAGING
I added line drawn illustrations to the identity to embellish through graphic elements while still aligning with the simplicity of the brand's strategy. These are used throughout to represent the products, and in a brand mark of a face outline.
I developed the brand's message through mock-up campaigns that feature close-ups of radiant, bare skin, allowing the audience to connect with the values of the brand and their products, instantly.
